If you scroll down to the bottom of the page you'll find;
john, des moines, ia: If you could play any position, what would it be? would you prefer to be the leadoff or cleanup hitter?
Craig Finn: I think 2B maybe. I would like to be in the middle of a double play. It's a very graceful position. Big wish for a very clumsy person.
Even though he didn't answer the rest of my question, he was still a good interview-ee. I also wanted to ask him what music he would play whilst walking up to the batter's box, but it didn't get through in time.
I'm not going to lie guys, my t-shirt game is pretty on-point. Here's my cover of "The T-Shirt Album":
Over the next few days I'll post each t-shirt as a track along with a song and a story about the shirt. Something different I guess... let me know what you think
these are all albums that just didn't quite cut it for me (and for good measure, I'll throw in something from the halcyon days)...
My Morning Jacket's "Evil Urges" 1 song, Highly Suspicious threw me for a loop, sounds too much like a Korn song for me. Unfortunately it's early in the tracklist (#3) and it left a bad taste in my mouth for the rest of the album. I loved the last album, Z, maybe a little too much and wanted more... Here's Off the Record from their last album "Z":
The Hold Steady "Stay Positive" Let's start with the art work... Which do you like better THIS or THIS It's no contest really. I still really enjoyed the album but I had trouble getting past the drab cover. Also, they put one of the best songs as a hidden/bonus track at the end of the last track! Franz pounds out the horn part nicely on the keys, though. "Boys & Girls..." was the perfect album at the perfect time for me but I think with time "Stay Positive" will grow even better. Here's You Can Make Him Like You from "Boys & Girls..."
those were 2 rock albums, now let's move on to a few hip-hop/rap albums...
Devin the Dude "Landing Gear" Maybe he shouldn't have left Rap-a-lot records... Here's Lacville '79 from "Just Tryin..."
...this albums was not-good enough that I need another, Georgy from his 1st self titled album:
Lil Wayne "Tha Carter III" I don't know what I was expecting... but this wasn't quite it. Comfortable & Let the Beat Build got multiple spins, but nothing else really stuck with me... outside of Lollipop. Here's Mr. Carter freestyling over Beyonce's Upgrade:
I guess I was expecting 08 to be huge because of those albums. They were all pretty damn good though (except Devin... seriously Dude who the F is Dee-Rail!??!?) and there were plenty of others that I was happy about with a few surprises too.
